Background

As Taiwan's first institution of higher education dedicated to training secondary school teachers, the Taiwan Provincial Teachers College (hereinafter referred to as "the College") earned renown as "the cradle of high school educators". The phrase "To Teach, To Lead" stresses the need for teachers to possess exemplary moral character in order to serve as role models for students. Today, such motto symbolizes the professionalism and poise demonstrated by NTNU alumni across all industries. Through precious artifacts and oral history gathered from our alumni, let us explore this magnificent evolution of the teacher education system.
