【演出訊息】2025人文季-高行健《夜遊神》讀劇演出 A Staged Reading of Gao Xingjian’s Nocturnal Wanderer
2025-05-14本次活動以享負盛名的劇作家高行健大師經典作品《夜遊神》為文本，邀請「第四人稱表演域」團隊帶領讀劇工作坊，以戲劇方式重繹經典及進行成果展示，讓參與者能夠全方位體驗「聲音演繹」的藝術，提供師生親身體驗高行健作品中獨特的語言風格與戲劇張力的機會，促進學術研究與藝術實踐的跨域互動。
This event features a staged reading of Nocturnal Wanderer, a classic play by the world-renowned writer Gao Xingjian. The “4th Persona Performance Lab” will lead a reading workshop that brings the script to life through voice and performance. Participants will explore how acting and vocal expression can highlight the unique language and emotional power of Gao’s writing. The event offers a great chance to experience his work directly and connect academic ideas with creative practice.
作品簡介：
《夜遊神》創作於1990年代，是他的重要戲劇之一。作品名稱來自中國古代神話中的「夜遊神」──掌管夜間巡邏、陰陽交界之處的神祇。劇中揉合夢境、幻覺與現實，充滿象徵意義，探討個體意識、自由、壓迫與靈魂的解放。劇本採用非線性敘事方式，角色常常缺乏固定身份，對白交錯夢境與現實，呈現強烈的實驗劇場風格。這種風格也受到法國荒誕派戲劇與中國傳統戲劇的雙重影響。
About the Play:
Written in the 1990s, Nocturnal Wanderer is one of Gao Xingjian’s major plays. The title refers to a figure from ancient Chinese mythology who watches over the night and walks the border between light and dark. The story moves between dreams, imagination, and real life, and uses symbolic scenes to explore ideas like personal freedom, pressure from society, and spiritual awakening. With its unusual storytelling and shifting characters, the play shows Gao’s experimental style influenced by both French and Chinese theatre traditions.
