Preamble

As the first institution of higher education in Taiwan to train secondary school teachers, NTNU is a school with unique historical significance in the areas of curriculum development, school legacy, and talent cultivation. Since its founding, NTNU has witnessed the evolution of education in Taiwan, carrying with it countless shared memories and marks of the times from both teachers and students. The NTNU: From Teachers College to Normal University school history special exhibition draws from the historical archives of the Taiwan Provincial Teachers College era. It follows past students’ academic journeys, presenting memories from enrollment, campus life, extracurricular activities, internships, and military training to graduation. We invite you to join us on this journey through time, to explore the era that the early students of NTNU lived through, and to feel the educational spirit and historical spirit of our school.
